Little League Baseball

All divisions are open to girls and boys.  During registration, age checks will be performed, and the appropriate divisions will be available for registration.  

T-Ball: Generally ages 4-6, 6 year olds may be ready to move to farms if they played a year of T-Ball.  Pre-farms softball girls should register for this division.  

Farms 5/6:  Generally ages 5 and 6. This is a step above T-Ball. Coaches will start to teach the rules of the game and begin to pitch to them.

Farms 7/8: 
Generally ages 7 and 8. This is primarily coach pitch, but will start to teach the kids to pitch. 8 year olds should move to kid pitch by the end of the season to prepare for Minors. Continue to teach more advanced rules of baseball.

Minors: Ages 9-10, some 11 year olds may play minors also. This is strictly kid pitch and is played with umpires and follow most of the standard rules of baseball. 60 foot bases and 46 foot pitching mound. This division will participate in the Little League State Tournament.

Majors: Ages 11 and 12. Some 10 year olds can move up to this division. This is strictly kid pitch and is played with umpires and follow all standard baseball rules with the exception of leading. 60 foot bases and 46 foot pitching mound. This division will participate in the Little League International Tournament. This is the division you see in the Little League World Series for baseball.

Intermediate: Ages 13-15. This division is for older kids who aged out of Majors but still want to play Little League baseball. This division may or may not run depending on enrollment and whether we have teams to play against. This division follows all baseball rules. 70 foot bases and 50 foot pitching mound.

Little League Softball

At this time, we only offer softball to girls.  The ages below are more general than baseball.  During registration, age checks will be performed, and the appropriate divisions will be available for registration.  

Farms:  Generally ages 6-8.  Fundamentals of softball will be taught.  

Minors:  Generally 9-11 year olds, some 8 year olds can play.  Fully kid pitch.

Majors:  Generally 11-12 year olds.  Some 13 year olds can still qualify.  Fully kid pitch.
